Don’t forget to email me at christy@thehousethatyarnbuilt.com  Don’t worry, if you’ve emailed me and it hasn’t bounced back to you, that means I have your email and you have been added. I’d love to have our total reach $10,000 by June 1, the first day of hurricane season. Can we do it??

Look what will be in the Yarn Basket!

February 4th, 2008

A very generous soul sent me this huge box of goodies to share as door prizes. Don’t forget, in order to be put in the yarn basket for the drawing, you have to email me at christy@thehousethatyarnbuilt.com or christy@misplacedsouthernbelle.com to tell me you donated. I’m aiming to do the first drawing once we hit $5,000. We are just over $2,100 so almost half way to the first drawing! Keep up the awesome work and don’t forget to get the word out! p1000384.JPGp1000385.JPGp1000386.JPGp1000387.JPGp1000389.JPGp1000390.JPGp1000394.JPGp1000391.JPG

WOW!

January 31st, 2008

I just received the first batch of donations for the drawings and let me tell you this box is a doozy. Here’s a hint, it includes two Hanne Falkenburg kits. Now, if you want to be included in the drawings, please make sure you email me to tell me that you donated to christy@thehousethatyarnbuilt.com or christy@misplacedsouthernbelle.com I will be photographing the contents over the next couple of days, so stay tuned! The donor wants to remain anonymous, so I will respect that wish but I want to take this opportunity to publicly  say a huge THANK YOU! You know who you are, so from the bottom of my heart, THANKS!

January 30th, 2008

YAY! At last check, our donations are over 1600.00 and I want to thank everyone who has donated money as well as yarn for the drawings. I still have a lot of work to do on the site, but I’m CSS and HTML challenged, so bear with me! I want to also thank everyone who has linked to this site and to the Make It Right site. We’re in this for the long term. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. For those of you who are on Ravelry, please join our group, The House That Yarn Built.  More updates later as my connectivity comes back online.
